This compilation includes three Jack Reacher novellas and the ultimate fan guide, "Jack Reacher's Rules". Deep Down: In thriller master Lee Child’s short story "Deep Down", Jack Reacher must track down a spy in soldier’s clothing - by matching wits with four formidable females. Three are clean - but the fourth may prove fatal. Summoned by Military Intelligence to Washington, D.C., Reacher is sent undercover. The assignment that awaits him: The army is meeting with its Capitol Hill paymasters for classified talks on a new, state-of-the-art sniper rifle for U.S. forces. But vital details about the weapon are leaking - straight from the Capitol and probably into the hands of unidentified foreign arms dealers. The prospect of any and every terrorist, mercenary, or dictator’s militia getting their hands on the latest superior firepower is unthinkable. That’s where Reacher comes in. His task: infiltrate the top-secret proceedings and smoke out the mole. His target: a quartet of high-powered Army political liaison officers - all of them fast-track women on their way to the top. According to his bosses, it’s a zero-danger mission. No need to draw a gun...just chat over drinks. But Reacher knows that things are rarely what they seem. And he’s learned the hard way never to underestimate an opponent. Or four. Lessons that will come in handy when he starts digging for the truth - and gets his hands a lot dirtier than he expected. Second Son: A young Jack Reacher knows how to finish a fight so it stays finished. He knows how to get the job done so it stays done. And, in one of his earliest challenges, he knows that his analytical brain is just as important as his impressive brawn. Okinawa, 1974: Even at 13, Jack Reacher knows how to outwit and overpower anyone who stands in his way. And as the new kid in town, that’s pretty much everyone. His family has come to the Pacific with his father, who’s preparing for a top-se 1. Language: English. Narrator: Dick Hill, Lee Child. Kickboxing & Science

The book is the result of a four-years long scientific-research, and the idea is to look at the principles, from the scientific point of view, that our trainers teach us before we go out into the arena. The first time I encountered one of such principle was before my very first fight at Full contact when I was twelve years old. The first thing the coach told me was: "If you get in the ring with a taller opponent, you should go into a boxing clinch and fight close with him, so his long arms will not be of any use to him. If a shorter opponent comes in the ring, keep him at the distance with direct punches and do not allow him to pull you into a boxing clinch because he will crush you. This is the way it is and don't ask too many questions." When I entered the ring, I saw in front me an opponent almost the same height as mine. The idea behind the research was to see the fight from the neutral point of view, and to question the principles to which we refer to as engraved in stone.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Offside is Law XI in the publication Laws of the Game written by the IFAB and published by FIFA. The law states that, if a player is in an offside position when the ball is touched or played by a teammate, he may not become actively involved in play. It is not an offense to merely be in an offside position. A player is in an offside position if he is in his opponents' half of the field and is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and the next to last opponent. The 2005 edition of the Laws of the Game included a new International Football Association Board decision that stated being "nearer to an opponent's goal line" meant that "any part of his head, body or feet is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent (the last opponent typically being the goalkeeper). The arms are not included in this definition."

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. A brainbuster is a professional wrestling throw in which a wrestler puts his/her opponent in a front facelock, hooks his/her pants, and lifts him/her up as if he/she was executing a vertical suplex. The wrestler then falls onto his/her back so that the opponent lands on his/her head while remaining vertical. This move is officially a version of the DDT. Also known as a belly to belly brainbuster, the wrestler stands facing a standing opponent and then wraps both arms around the opponent's torso, lifting them off the ground. The wrestler then shifts their grip so they are holding the opponent by their legs, gripping the opponent behind the knee. The wrestler then removes one arm from the opponent s leg and quickly applies a front facelock with that arm, lifts the opponent as if they were using a vertical suplex and lands the opponent on the back of their head.

Guillotine Choke

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The guillotine choke is a chokehold in martial arts and wrestling applied from in front of the opponent. The choke involves using the arms to encircle the opponent's neck in a fashion similar to a guillotine. The technique is either a type of tracheal compression restraint (wind choke) that prevents air flow to the lungs, or a blood choke depending on how it is applied. When executed from the ground, the person applying it will try to control the opponent by the hips, for instance using a closed guard. This is done to prevent the opponent from escaping the hold, and to be able to apply additional pressure by extending the hips. It's a very effective maneuver when performed correctly.
