Andrew Martin: The surprising Sicilian! - Shock your opponent with an early ....Qb6In the modern game, a player has to be ready to play almost any opening variation at short notice. The plan is to interrupt the preparation of the opponent at every turn. A knowledge of dynamic and slightly unusual lines could well score many, many points for the resourceful player. The Kveinys Variation : 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 e6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Nxd4 Qb6! is surprisingly little-played, yet gives Black excellent chances and on this new ChessBase DVD, Andrew Martin explains how the system works. For the Master, we have a surprise weapon which players of the calibre of Svidler, Judit Polgar and Kveinys have used to defeat tough opposition. For the club player, where preparation is sketchy, we have a line which asks questions of the opponent right at the beginning of the game and creates immediate pressure on White to find good moves. That is the way to win! Perhaps the Kveinys variation will become more popular in the future. It does not deserve to be a comparatively rare sideline.• Video running time: 5 hours 21 min. (English)• With interactive training including video feedback• Exclusive database with 50 model games• Including CB 14 ReaderAndrew Martin is an English chess player with the title of International Master. He has won various national and international tournaments and was a commentator on the chess world championship between Kasparov and Kramnik in 2000. Brainbuster

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. A brainbuster is a professional wrestling throw in which a wrestler puts his/her opponent in a front facelock, hooks his/her pants, and lifts him/her up as if he/she was executing a vertical suplex. The wrestler then falls onto his/her back so that the opponent lands on his/her head while remaining vertical. This move is officially a version of the DDT. Also known as a belly to belly brainbuster, the wrestler stands facing a standing opponent and then wraps both arms around the opponent's torso, lifting them off the ground. The wrestler then shifts their grip so they are holding the opponent by their legs, gripping the opponent behind the knee. The wrestler then removes one arm from the opponent s leg and quickly applies a front facelock with that arm, lifts the opponent as if they were using a vertical suplex and lands the opponent on the back of their head.
