This book is the most in-depth and detailed guide created on teaching players how to crush their lane opponent in League of Legends. It´s a bold statement, but I can back it up. The book will teach you everything you need to know about completely dominating over your lane matchup (which, by the way, sometimes feels better than winning). I´ve tried extremely hard to break down every micro-aspect of over 60 of the game mechanics that come into play during laning. I´ve broken down every single concept into the most simple, understandable terms that even a new player will grasp. Believe it or not, there are that many possible micro and macro aspects that go into laning. It´s an art. Once you listen to this book, you will be aware of things you never really stopped to think about before. If this book doesn´t get you prepared for any possible situation you might face during laning...nothing will. Here are a few of the things you are going to learn once you get the book: The five-step formula to winning every trade in lane, which works 100% of the times How to build up huge advantages over your opponent by capitalizing on the small mistakes they make How to manage the minion waves in the same way Challenger and Pro players do it How to never depend on your jungler´s actions anymore What to do when you are behind in lane, and how to actually come ahead - how to stomp your opponent to the point of completely tilting the whole enemy team How to deal with any possible situation in the laning phase How to abuse your advantage and get the maximum out of every situation Enjoy the progress you are going to experience in your ranked games! 1. Setting down his thoughts on swordplay, on winning, and on spirituality, legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi intended this modest work as a guide for his immediate disciples and future generations of samurai. He had little idea he was penning a masterpiece that would be eagerly devoured by people in all walks of life centuries after his death. Along with The Art of War by Sun Tzu, The Book of Five Rings has long been regarded as an invaluable treatise on the strategy of winning. Musashi´s timeless advice on defeating an adversary, throwing an opponent off-guard, creating confusion, and other techniques for overpowering an assailant was addressed to readers of earlier times on the battlefield and now serves the modern listener in the battle of life. In this new rendering by the translator of Hagakure and The Unfettered Mind, William Scott Wilson adheres rigorously to the 17th-century Japanese text and clarifies points of ambiguity in earlier translations. In addition, he offers an extensive introduction and a translation of Musashi´s rarely published The Way of Walking Alone. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Scott Brick. The Book of Five Rings is about Kenjutsu and the martial arts in general, written by the Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi around 1645. There have been various translations made over the years, and it enjoys an audience considerably broader than only that of martial artists and people across East Asia; for instance, some foreign business leaders find its discussion of conflict and taking the advantage to be relevant to their work in a business context. Musashi establishes a ´´no-nonsense´´ theme throughout the audiobook. For instance, he repeatedly remarks that technical flourishes are excessive and contrasts worrying about such things with the principle that all technique is simply a method of cutting down one´s opponent. He also continually makes the point that the understandings expressed in the audiobook are important for combat on any scale, whether a one-on-one duel or a massive battle. Descriptions of principles are often followed by admonitions to ´´investigate this thoroughly´´ through practice rather than trying to learn them by merely reading. 1. Language: English. The spy novel emerged from the intrigues of the mid-20th century for good reason. The war with the Third Reich involved an unseen cloak-and-dagger struggle between the participants, but beyond that, an even larger and longer contest took place in the shadows. Communism gained its first major foothold in statehood with the success of the Russian Revolution at the end of World War I, a success bizarrely assisted by the massive funding provided to the revolutionaries by some Western businessmen. Armand Hammer’s father, Julius, for instance, gave the new Soviet Union $50,000 in gold to back their new currency. In exchange, he received asbestos mining and oil concessions, plus a pencil manufacturing monopoly in the USSR lasting until the Stalin era. Soviet Russia followed a philosophy demanding international, global revolution - which, in practice, often resembled conquest by any means available, direct or indirect. While the Soviets never hesitated to use naked force when it seemed advisable, or when compelled to it by outside attack, they made intensive use of covert operations - spying, assassination, bribery, infiltration of governments and educational systems, the deployment of agents provocateur, and ´´agitprop´´ - in an effort to weaken other nations from within or possibly cause takeover by a friendly revolutionary regime. Soviet agents operated in all European countries and others, but their main efforts naturally focused on the strongest potential rivals - Germany, the United States, and Great Britain. Intelligent, persistent, and ruthless, the Soviets succeeded in recruiting a considerable number of agents, including men from the British ruling class. Their activities enabled the Soviets to capture and execute hundreds, if not thousands, of the opponents of their regime along with numbers of British agents. The men responsible for this unprecedented leaking of life-or-death information would enter history as the Cambridge Fi... 1. Language: English. Narrator: Colin Fluxman.
